The Calaveras Winegrape Alliance was established in 1988 to represent and market the wine industry of Calaveras County. Originally two separate organizations, in 2005 the Growers Association and the Winery Association voted to merge the growers and the wineries to become the Calaveras Winegrape Alliance, also known as the CWA.
We currently have a thirty-seven member Alliance of wineries and growers, which includes eighteen Calaveras County wineries.
Each year, thousands visit our tasting rooms to sample and buy the award-winning wines produced by our members. We also host six major events throughout the year, as well as our monthly educational and fun event Wines Of The World.
